Baby Water Safety
The Starfish award series introduces babies from a few months old to the water alongside their guardians.
This innovative series consists of six progressive awards that focus on building water confidence and safety skills. Sessions occur in shallow water, where guardians support the baby, ensuring safety while fostering a nurturing environment.
STAnley Series
First Steps
The STAnley First Steps Series consists of seven exciting awards aimed at teaching children from two years old basic swimming and water safety skills.
Understanding a child's first swimming experience is vital, we create a fun-filled environment that captures their interest. This series paves the way for continued progression to the Goldfish Series or even the Octopus Series for older children.
Octopus Series
The Octopus series is an engaging set of three progressive awards designed specifically for children aged 5 to 8 years.
This program allows older children to join the Learn to Swim pathway, helping them build confidence, knowledge, and essential swimming skills.
Goldfish Series
The Goldfish series offers an exciting set of three progressive awards that build on existing skills in a fun, challenging, and rewarding way.
By the end of this series, swimmers will be able to swim 15 meters unaided and perform basic floating techniques.
Angelfish Series
After completing the Goldfish Series, swimmers can advance to the Angelfish series. This series features three progressive awards that enhance skills further, enabling swimmers to swim 25 metres unaided, master the butterfly stroke, and develop sculling techniques.
Our professional instructors focus on building both technique and confidence, ensuring that each child enjoys their swimming journey and is prepared for the next level.
Shark Series
Once learners have completed the Angelfish Series, they can progress to the Shark series. This advanced series teaches essential water rescue and survival techniques, along with starts and turns for each swimming stroke.
Learners will be able to swim 100 metres by the series' conclusion, equipping them with vital skills to navigate water safety effectively.
